Absolutely Amazing and New Villa right on the beach!!!!

Left on 06/10/2014 for a stay in May 2014
I live in Tulum and when a few of my closest friends came to visit me in Tulum last month we treated ourselves to a long weekend on the beach at Villa Soliman. Although the villa has 6 bedrooms and was a bit bigger than eight people actually needed, we were able to rent the private villa at the reduced rate since we only needed 4 bedrooms. Our rate included Continental Breakfast but Lina, one of the staff, was so sweet and volunteered to make us some of her wonderful Huevos Rancheros and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. Max, the property manager was so helpful and the staff kept everything in perfect order and always with a smile. Thank you everyone at Villa Soliman for making our stay such a wonderful one. We love Tulum beaches and Villa Soliman is our new favorite spot. Brett

Unforgettable!!

we arrived at night(3 hours flight delay) and Max the owner/manager of villa Soliman was there to welcome us which to be honest did a huge difference as we were all exhausted ! the house is spectacular, brand new, luxurious with all the comforts. me and my wife had the room on the top floor with the private plunge pool and terrace which was something out of this world, my two boys in the floor below and our friends on the ground floor apartment. Every morning his staff very well trained, would prepare an amazing breakfast included some fantastic tropical fruit dishes. at the villa we had all we needed, snorkeling equipment and kayaks to explore the bay. This bay is so incredible for snorkelers, there is so much to see underwater and with the kids it was so easy and relaxing as the whole bay has shallow waters so you snorkel in total relax, just in front of the villa there are some scattered corals with so many fish, we also saw 4 lobsters.
We spent most time on the bay, only two excursions out, one unforgettable, was set up by the onwer, he sent us his dive master(a real professional one) which took us to one of the cenotes near soliman bay(dos ojos) which i really recommend. My younger son of 13 never done before and ciuccio (the dive master) made his experience memorable, i really can't thank him enough. then the day after we rented the boat by hotel Jashita just up the bay which also gave us great moments with our family as the food at the restaurant was outstanding and they had incredible live music. Our fishing tour was not so lucky , we stayed out for 3 hours and only one bite. Good thing is that we passed in front of Tulum ruiins which from the ocean looked so beautiful.
Overall we had a five star vacation thanks to Max and the great job he did.
i don't like to return to the same places for holidays but this time me and even more my kids can't wait to be back!!!

Serene Modern vacation house

This house had the ideal set-up if you want both a lovely pool area and beach. The layout of the property was perfect, with a mixture of shade and sun around the pool, and a peaceful hammock area just beyond the pool, and then beach. Soliman Bay itself is very beautiful. The beach has soft, non-rocky sand. There is turtle-grass as you enter the water, and then sand further out, so water shoes are useful. It is not open ocean with waves, but protected and good for snorkeling and kayaking. It is a 20 minutes drive to the restaurants of Tulum beach, but there are two good restaurants within walking distance of the house, and a very large, modern grocery store 15 minutes away. The house is four stories, so not good if steps are problem, but works well for both families using it as a single unit or if you have two groups who want some separate areas. The host was extremely responsive to questions and very welcoming, as were the staff members who live in a separate unit behind the house. The staff prepared breakfast and kept everything clean and organized, but were very unobtrusive because they have their own separate space on-site. The kitchen was well stocked, and although it does not have an oven we found we were fine with the stove-top and grill. I highly recommend this house for any group.

My wife, son and I were fortunate enough to stay here last week and it was tough to leave. The home itself has a easy modern and clean elegance to it. The interiors are tastefully appointed with locally made hardwood furniture and nautical art. The main floor opens up completely in the back to a patio by the pool where we spent most of our time, reading or chatting with a glass of wine. Beyond the pool lies beautiful Soliman Bay where my son and I enjoyed some great snorkeling. In fact, the bay seems to change color as light changes throughout the day. Toward the end of the day we would make our way to the sun deck on the roof for stunning panoramic views of the sunset over the bay and the mangrove. There is also a couple, Mariachi and Illiana, who stay in an adjacent house who'd prepare a complimentary breakfast of our choice. In fact Mariachi preformed traditional mariachi music for us at dusk one evening, it was great! Max, the charming owner, also came by from time to time to see if we needed anything. Tulum, and all it has to offer, is only a short 10 minute drive away. My wife and I travel quite bit and this was tops, we give it our highest recommendation. Outstanding, simply perfect so we'll definitely be back! Thanks Max!

We arrived at the villa, greeted by the staff and the manager. We had excellent service, the best I have experienced with condo/house rentals. Manager checks in almost daily and the staff live on-site and keep the villa very clean. The views from the beach are extraordinary especially at sunset. Soliman Bay is full of sea creatures so a great spot for snorkeling and kayaking, its calm waters come from the natural reef at the edge of the bay. You will need a car. Property is located outside of town, many of the restaurants are 15-35 minutes away, however there are a few close by. The villa is 4 stories which is cumbersome for small children.

Max is an excellent host. Our group found the house to be even more impressive than the photos. The villa has high ceilings, spacious rooms, and is newly built, with excellent, practical furnishings. There are plenty of hammocks and lounge chairs outside, as well as numerous seating areas for meals both inside and outside.

The caretaker and his team are also incredibly friendly and vibrant people who do a great job of keeping the house organized and clean. Before a huge rainstorm, they diligently cleaned the beach and brought our shoes and other belongings inside. They also make great breakfast and can play mariachi music.

If you are looking for a vacation in an untouched part of Mexico that still has all the amenities you expect- there are chef services available for excellent food and a hotel down the beach with a great restaurant, and boating/fishing trips can be arranged not far away- this is an excellent option.

Paradise! My large family rented both apartments and had a fabulous week at Villa Soliman. The location is ideal- private property on the beach, away from hotel row, but close enough to walk to dinner or drive to Tulum. The accommodations were fabulous! Each bedroom had a private bathroom, beds were totally comfortable and the kitchens were stocked with new glassware, flatware, pots and pans, etc. and there's a huge grocery store 10 minutes away. Our days were full of kayaking in the gorgeous water, jumping in the pool and napping in the hammocks. And a bit of sightseeing- hard to step away from that awesome beach! Max was a wonderful host, incredibly responsive and helpful. Comfortable for my entire family and we look forward to staying at Villa Soliman again.
